Olivia Anton -
I moved to Michigan from Florida on April 3, 2013. My good friend Lisa introduced me to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Warren, MI. I started to volunteer there, and that’s when I met Olivia for the first time. She later founded the high school youth group there, where I joined as a leader.
Three years later, Olivia suggested that I meet this guy she knows. He was actually her cousin, Matthew, who had recently moved back home from Chicago on October 27, 2015. At first, I tried to write her off because I had a few blind dates in the past that were not successful. I wasn't really open to the idea. I told her this, and she still encouraged me to give it a try. I decided to give it a chance.
We went on our first date April 3, 2016, and we were married on October 27, 2018 ❤️ Exactly three years from my move back was our first date, and exactly three years from Matthew's move back was our wedding date. We never planned any of that. Everything happens on Gods time, and Olivia was the instrument that brought us together.
Our story has been an amazing journey so far, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
Sometimes we have to break away from our comfort zone to take that leap of faith and find something extraordinary just waiting for us right around the corner.
